Crane Portrait SOLD
Saturday and still painting. Painters don't get weekends off especially when they sign up for a challenge. Not sure if my demeanor is coming thru these birds but another bird with an attitude. This is a sandhill crane close up. Oil on a toned gesso board size is 6x6 inches not feet. Infact I am about to tackle a 24x36 inch canvas and it will be the largest ever for me.

Wow, so striking! They are quite amazing. There was a pair, eventually joined by a baby, on a college campus in Orlando.

ReplyDeleteWell, if your demeanor produces a painting like this, I'd say hang onto that demeanor! This is really striking and bold. Love your brush strokes and color.
